Building Surveyor\nLocation: London\nType: Temporary ongoing\nRate: Up to £43 per hour Umbrella\nHours: 36 hours per week\n\nSocial Housing Experience Required\n\nDaniel Owen are proud to be representing a well-known client based in the London area, who are looking for a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join their team.\n\nKey Responsibilities - Building Surveyor\n\nCarrying out property inspections and condition surveys on residential and commercial buildings\nIdentifying defects, maintenance issues, and repair requirements\nPreparing survey reports with findings and recommendations\nManaging planned and reactive maintenance works\nOverseeing contractors on site and monitoring quality of work\nEnsuring works are completed in line with health and safety regulations\nAssisting with damp and mould investigations and remedial solutions\nPreparing specifications, schedules of works, and cost estimates\nLiaising with tenants, clients, contractors, and internal departments\nSupporting refurbishment, disrepair, and capital works projects\nMonitoring budgets and ensuring value for money on projects\nKeeping accurate records, reports, and compliance documentation\nConducting post-inspections to ensure works are completed to standard\nEnsuring buildings meet statutory and regulatory requirements\nProviding technical advice and support to colleagues and residents
